Christ is your ENTIRE righteousness,
so your trust must be TOTALLY on him,
and not at all on you or your efforts
or your church, for you to be saved.

Frank. I don't see any "you"...there is only Christ and the illusion
of "you"
anyway. There is only Christ in my opinion so trusting the "you" or
"ego" makes little sense. We agree. As far as being "saved" though..I
don't understand that. I'm not lost and all the hairs on our heads are
accounted for so this concept of being lost is an odd one. I say take
out the word "saved" and put in the word "enlightended" instead.

Wow. In light of what I just wrote in the sin thread, I now write that I'm
amazed when people say they do not need to be saved. Why does the person
who says such a thing need Christ, I wonder? For them is Jesus just a
really, really good guy? Enlightenment can be found in a million other
religions and practices. Salvation is light years away from enlightenment,
no?

False. This believe that 'you' is only an illusion is Hindu, not Christian.

There is only Christ in my opinion
But that is not _Christ's_ opinion, as Scripture makes clear.

so trusting the "you" or
"ego" makes little sense.
So why are you trustin your own ego so often? You _are_ trusting your own ego
every time you set your own opinion over those 'opinions' expressed in
Scripture.

We agree. As far as being "saved" though..I
don't understand that.
Now _that_ is something lots of us can agree on; you do not understand it.

I'm not lost
Yes, you are. Very lost. You give abundant evidence of this in every post of
yours.

out the word "saved" and put in the word "enlightended" instead.
And by doing this, you give the best possible evidence that you are not
'enlightened' at all.

Ann? do you actually understand what I have written? or are you
assuming? Salvation is to be saved from something that is going after
you....nothing is going after me. The best way to express it is that
Christ leads me to enlightenment and the truth of my particular
version of God....saving time? yes...but there is nothing after me. I
don't believe in a being known as Satan...although I believe that many
have fears that are founded on the lie of separation....and these
fears manifest into the "what if?" the adversary...the
questioner...the concept of a lack of faith in God.Jesus was the son
of God (as we all are sons and daughters of God) but perhaps a more
giving spirit..a more special one with a bigger job to do. Jesus is a
teacher/rabbi and a perfect example of enlightenment...he is the I AM
and we will all have to work at getting there or realizing that.
Salvation and enlightenment are ONE if one has to use the term
"salvation". I notice that you respond quickly to my posts without
much understanding of it...and for that ....it is a sad thing but I
wish you well and for us to have a better understanding of each other
in the future.
Blessings
