Y do folks have such a hard time to live by Christs teachings?

hard to live by?

not what, but why.
You tell me. Christians apparently have a hell of a time living by
these beatitudes. I see many in this group pay 0 attention to them.
Instaed they insult others and forget Christ's teachings.
