How far is too far?

Mars Hill Church of Seattle, WA was on Nightline. Does the pastor go
too far and talk too much about sex? I think he might. Yes, it's true
that those who are married should enjoy sex, but talking so freely
about sex in a public forum is not only lewd, but impolite and
indelicate.

Love,
Savvy

PS Whoever said I wanted people to read my blog was totally right,
but if I spark discussion like the last time, that's totally OK, too!!

Ick. I'm married and that would freak me out. It's one thing for
doctors or therapists to discuss specific sexual information like this
in private, and another entirely to preach about it to a mixed audience.
:( That minister demonstrated a real lack of sensitivity, and unless
he clearly warned his congregation about the subject matter in advance,
engaged in serious boundary-crossing. (I can't tell from your post;
were there minor children in the congregation? That would make it even
worse.)

I'm an Orthodox Christian and wouldn't be likely to go to a Protestant
church on Sunday anyway. If I had, however, I would not to return to
that particular church.

Under His mercy,

B - I don't think so. Sex is just another fact of life and an
important one at that.
My opinion.
