Nothing 'witty' about it. It is thoroughly dishonest and even blasphemous.

Surely you can see what is wrong with using Jesus's name in a blasphemous manner
to teach the very opposite of what He taught in Mat 15:19.

No, not at all.

Like much commentary, it shed light on foolishness through humor.

Like a political cartoon.

But, many fundamentalist would object to anyone laughing about relgion.
(I hear the Islamic fundamentalist don't like carttons of Mohammed either.)

Lighten' up!

It's not blasphemous at all.

It's enlightening and revealing....of what Jesus rreally taught.

It is not LIGHT that it sheds. That is the problem. Just because YOU call it
'light' does not make it light.

Rather, that you call it this shows that love scoffing in place of wisdom. Also
that you CANNOT understand wisdom, just as Solomon told us:

A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not; but knowledge is easy unto him
that hath discernment.
(Pro 14:6 JPS)

That is why knowledge is NOT easy for you.

'light' does not make it light.
And because you ssay it doesn't.....doesn't mean it is not

If you want to stay in the dark, no illumination will force you to open your
eyes.

THis reminds me more of a political cartoon on an editorial page.

Sometimes it helps to show some truth....through humor and wit.

I have no problem with knowledge. I am open to everything.

I would think it is difficult to always be on guard against anyhting that
would cause one to think.
