Discussion:
Concerned about how we depict the Rapture

What is it with "christians" and the belief that Jesus will walk this Earth
again? For those that believe that this will happen, I ask you to find a
scripture where he says he will walk on this Earth again. Better yet,
perhaps you could explain to me why Jesus would "raise" the living and the
dead, or his children, only to walk on this Earth again, apparently without
those he raised. I don't get how we can read and read the bible, some so
much that they can quote scripture at the drop of a hat, and then we say
things like this. Or better yet, others are not offended by those that hold
this belief.

When did Jesus fail to mention God? Who is your first love(Is this what it
means?)? Jesus or God? Who are you serving? Will you lose your soul for
ignoring the father? Jesus never ignored the father, so why is it that
christian shows talk about believing in Jesus, and being for or against him,
but they never mention God? I'm sorry, I don't get this.

And then there is the rapture. Everyone speaks about the rapture, and the
fact that it will be noticed by those that are left behind. Yes it will be
noticed. But, did you notice that Revelations says that people still will
not repent for every step, every sign that the end is near, except following
what has been termed the rapture? Do you realize the significance of this?
BECAUSE IT WILL BE TOO LATE THEN! (sorry, I'm not screaming here.) Can
someone explain why these simple facts are so ignored?

With Christ? Is that what they are placing so much emphasis on? It can't
be the Iron Rod scripture because that event pre-dates the 1000 years.

Even the Angel speaking in Revelations admonishes John for falling down at
his feet in order to worship him. Why do we think we should pray to
"saints?" The Angel also speaks of God, how do we mention Jesus but not
God? Or is this another trick of the enemy? How do we allow it?

Doesn't Revelations 19:21 say that the "remnant were slain?" And doesn't
Revelations 2:5 say "but the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years was finished?" Why then is there an assumption that the bad
people of the world will be alive during that thousand years? So many weird
things.
