The Big Questions: 10 minutes with Jesus: what would you ask him?

Spending 4-5 hours in conversation with my mentor Richard Rohr over the
last couple of days raised this question for me: If I/you could do the
same with Jesus, say for 10 minutes, and hear his answers to specific
questions, what would they be? Richard says for most of us they'd
probably have something to do with the 'Big Five' - love, death,
suffering, eternity, God.

Wouldn't even dream of doing that. He knows what I would want to know
and will let me know if He thinks best anyway. Evidently some things
are best left unknown for now, to quote a song "Don't know much, but I
know I love you; and that may be all I need to know." (bet that song
was supposed to be a Christian song in the first place. :-)

Holy Spirit is the Paraclete is the Church is the Third Person of the
Holy Trinity, according to the 4 Apostolic Churches, Roman Catholic
Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, Oriental Orthodox Church and Assyrian
Church of the East. As such, Protestants would be outside the Church,
and thus outside the Holy Spirit, and Evangelical scholars like Bruce
M. Metzger and WCC chief Konrad Raiser are certainly not guided by the
Holy Spirit.

Salvation does not come from Lord Jesus Christ but from the Holy
Spirit the Lord, who is the Church.
