Hypocrisy and a Sickening Vision

Dear All

These are indeed the last days, and the bible itself had warned us of
those who will come in His name, leading many astray.

We have seen a good number of those "mighty before the Lord" -- more
Nimrods than genuine servants of our savior -- who have fallen into
disrepute. Not only that, they Lord over the flock in the manner of
the heathen Kings of yore, resorting to many lies to coverup the
baseness of their lifestyles.

If we hark back to the 80s and 90s, there had been a slew of sexual
and financial related scandals involving the likes of Jimmy Swaggart,
Oral Roberts and so on. What is worse is that these very people who
are "mighty" in faith and miracles were in fact instrumental in
exposing the frauds of each other, out of envy and lust for the
financial flows of the other.

It has not stopped since. Recently a famous personality from a group
of prophets listed just below was caught enacting the very deeds he
was railing against. Namely, Ted Haggard. Check out his fellow
"prophets" here:

http://www.prophetic.net/prpix.htm

Notice Ted Haggard's picture doesn't just load up. (It could be
connection problems on my side but his pix is the only one missing on
my end)

The question I would like to ask every reader is this: If these people
are indeed prophets, wouldn't they have sensed Ted Haggard's sexual
antics? This wasn't an isolated incident among 'prophets." Or is it
easier for these prophets to "see" little flaws, and condemn the
bruised reeds in bible speak?

Or could they also be involved in the same sin of falsehood and
sensuality?

Take a look at this testimony by Teresa Seputis (also included in that
list of prophets) above.

Quote:"I had just been prayed for at a renewal meeting and was laying
on the floor. Suddenly I was in a vision... I was standing up and the
Lord was standing before me..."

"Now is the time, Teresa. I want to wash you and cleanse you.
"OK, Lord.

"I don't want you to be uncomfortable while I'm doing this. That is
why I have enveloped you in a shield of My love. There is no need for
you to be embarrassed. Just keep looking into My eyes and this will be
very easy for you."

"I imagine that what happened next happened in the spirit. But from my
perspective, it seemed like it was physically happening to me. I kept
my eyes glued on Jesus' eyes... not because I was afraid or nervous,
but because I was so over-whelmed by His love and His caring for me.
Jesus reached over and began to remove my clothes from me. Soon I was
standing before Him totally naked...

"'Remember how I told you that I wanted to wash you and make you
clean?'
"I nodded.

"Now is the time. Let me wash you.' Then He did wash me.. every part
of me. He washed my face, behind my neck, down my arms, over my whole
body. When He got to my feet, He tickled the bottom of one of them.
That was the last thing I was expecting Him to do. I laughed and
pulled my foot away.

"'Remember,' His eyes sparkled, 'I told you I was coming to you as
your 'playful fianc=E9.' He laughed and I was lost in that laughter. I
felt more alive and cleaner than in a very very long time. Then He
washed my other foot, tickling it as well.

"'Now that you are washed and clean, it is time to clothe you in a
robe of My righteousness.' He held a white garment, sort of wadded up
so that I could not really see it well.

This post was reportedly removed when it came as a shocker to many.
One conspiracy site (below) though published this post some time back.
And upon reading this "vision", I am not surprised that many prefer a
good conspiracy indeed.

Teresa Seputis should have debunked this post if it was false, but
such rebuttals have never gone on record, though she can take offence
when someone from India calls her a false prophet. With a forked
tongue like hers and the forked lifestyles of other millionaire
evangelists, it is no wonder that there is anti-Christian backlash in
India!

It is no wonder that mainstream Charismatic Christianity is becoming
synonymous with hypocrisy. These guys cheer on the US invasion of
Iraq, but instead of donating kevlar body kits, they are more likely
building their financial empires.

Do not be surprised if these evangelists lead the United States into a
bloodier quagmire.

How many of these "prophets" have children or husbands serving in
Iraq? Or they too busy with their salacious visions that may be suited
for Sunday Schools they are bringing up?

B - please prove that these are the "last days" and what "last days" are
they? last days of the patriarchy? last days of imbalance? last days of
the religious crooked (aka right)?
