This is true, in a metaphoric sense. I would not say a literal sense,
though.

It is a good reminder that we are like ambassadors on the Earth, like
diplomats from a foreign nation.

No, of course I have. But unlike you, I read it _attentively_, so I did not jump
to the false conclusion you espouse in this post. Pay attention! He said "letter
of recommendation (RSV xlate), NOT 'Bible'.

The difference is HUGE. But typically, you fail to notice it.
