Discussion:
Are you trying to take on God too?

Why is humanity ready to villify God? Is it because humans have convinced
themselves that God has done nothing at their most dire moments? Are you
looking for miracles? Or are you demanding that God perform a miracle? Why
do you feel God hasn't tried to help? Maybe you haven't seen his attempts
to help because he has tried to put people in positions to help, but mankind
has denied those very same people the positions that God wants them in. If
you have noticed in the Bible, God has often used people to do his work,
from Moses, to Jonah, and everyone else. I think it is ridiculous to feel
this way when some of those complaining made the hiring decisions in the
first place.
Similarly, have you noticed that more and more movies are depicting
characters ready to take on God, due to these very same issues? It is
bloody ridiculous! We are of the opinion that "it's not what you can do, it
is who you know." We made that assessment and adhere to it, don't blame
God. Is the problem now what some other person could have done? Why ask
now? If they were in the position to help when they needed to be, they
would have done, or tried to do then. You may like 20/20 hindsight vision,
not everyone else does. Just because the work might be comparable does not
mean that the two people can do the same job. But, mankind is the same way
in numerous ways, things must be there way, there can't be a valid reason
for any other way. It is not true.

I just LOVED "Bruce Almighty," I thought it was a pretty good object
lesson for people who think God isn't doing what He should be doing.

Who are you referring to? Who are you addressing?

Isn't it a bit presumptuous to make all these assumptions about anyone reading
these newsgroups? How do you know what people you have never met do or have
done?
