A Prayer to the The Holy Spirit for Christian Unity

Almighty and merciful Father, send the Holy Spirit down upon us and the
leaders of all the Christian churches to open their minds and hearts to
the truthful teachings of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help them to renew and restore the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church
which he founded when the Holy Spirit descended on His Apostles that first
Pentecost.
By the Holy Spirit gather all who believe the Truth of Jesus Teachings to
come together, working together to bring about unity of the Church founded
by Christ and the Apostles. Help them to practice respect the dignity of
all God s children throughout the entire world.
Inspire world leaders to find the means of bringing about an end to the
horrors of war, poverty, genocide and discrimination and all the other
atrocities being committed in the name of God.
Through the Holy Spirit, inspire all people to be more mindful of the
needs of others and become more generous toward the poor, aged, and sick.

Open the minds of all to become more tolerant of the differences and
diversity created by Almighty God.
Instill deep in our hearts your truth and through the Holy Spirit guide us
in our service to you.
We ask this in the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our redeemer
and savior.

Again...I'd rather have a prayer for all faiths to come together in peace
and respect and love...however any Unifying prayers are good I suppose.

Your group _calls_ itself a 'mission', but since I visited the website, I know
that the only 'mission' you are capable of it that condemned in Christ's words:

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you traverse sea
and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a
proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.
(Mat 23:15 RSVA)

Now of course I know that sounds harsh, but what else am I to think, when I see
you smearing the names of the great saints by attributing to them your own
impurity?

Which truthful teachings you have yet to embrace yourself. Repetn while there is
still time.

How can you 'restore' what was never lost? The One Church has never disappeared.

Now as for you title: you call for "christian unity", but how can we have such
unity while there are so many wolves in sheep's clothing insisting on enjoying
that unity? True Christian Unity is possible ONLY for those who are genuine
followers of Christ -- not for people who speak well of the practice of
depravity and call this 'tolerance'.
