An open letter to the moderator:

What in the by-laws of this NG allows for this to make through
the moderating process and into the NG? What is there within
this post that concerns itself with Christian discussion directly?
Sure, we could drift into a discussion of morality, but the
poster made no such attempt to develop a discussion in regards
to theistic ethics.

I am not the moderator nor am I up todate on the by-laws.
Perhaps you would share your thinking as to why this was
deemed worthy to publish.

[I don't just whether articles are "worthy." There are lots that
in my opinion aren't. I judge whether there is some specific problem
with them. Commentary on current moral standards seems relevant.

B - Hmm must've been out of the loop for the past few days....this is a
christian topic? Oh well...yes I heard Rosie O'Donnell say this and it was
actually very hilarious and had the whole audience laughing. Seems that
money cannot buy one a sense of humour but it sure can buy you some purty
buildings ......really long ones with your name on them. Oy..do have a
field day Mr. Freud.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in
your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the
authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions
because they have been handed down for many generations. But after
observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with
reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then
accept it and live up to it"

Strange though that Rosie should mention these things when The Don did
something decent. Considering the way she behaves I don't think she is
a moral compass either.
