Are demons internal or external?

Do you doubt that demons walk amongst us? Why is that? Because man is free
to choose? Or do you limit who you say has demons to those that commit
heinous acts? What about those that hate and do everything to stop another
from doing, or that wants to deny peaceful existences? What about those that
want to coerce others to do something in excess of that required in order to
do what they already have proven they are capable of doing? Especially when
that added action is one which is against what God has pointedly said not to
do. Two seperate things, with totally different focuses, are joined
suddenly, but why? Why is it important to base the success in one arena on
the doing of an act that does not relate to the field you are wanting
success in altogether? (This is so even when the body is used for
advancement purposes, although one of those ways are conducive to the
natural union of the male and female.)

Do you think that people can be possessed by demons? Can people be taught
to hate in this day and age without a valid basis to prompt that emotion?
But even when a valid basis may exist, those same people have to ignore the
actions taken by members of their own race against others to not hate them,
even when they are the same, or are similar in nature.

What brought on this topic? The idea of "legion" having personal demons,
but not being possessed by demons. They were put out of the man, and the
demons tried to control the swine that they entered. Or did they? Did the
demons commit suicide solely because they were not allowed to do so in the
man that they were in? In the end they controlled the swine, but no demon
can take on God and win, can they?

Understanding is about faith. Faith is about believing in something no
matter how poorly understood it may be. No matter the questions that may be
asked. Of course, to have faith means that there is faith that an answer
will be given. Not just any answer either, the right answer has to be
given. Then you have to hear the answer. Concommitantly, you can't have
faith when you fail to follow the simple guidelines that have been
previously set out, and that are easily understood. Don't little children
have faith that their parents and role-models will take care of them? Have
faith that they will be given presents? They even have faith that you will
tell them truth! That is what was meant. Come in that frame of mind.
To answer, both exist.

Demons are spirits of the Darkness, who are enemies of humans and enemies of
El Elyon.

I don't know if anyone knows from where they originated.

Yes. Read Dickason's "Angels: Evil and Elect". The book is
basically his outline notes from his theology class at Moody
in the 70's, "angelology." Very interesting class as on Wed.
he would come in after counseling either the demonically
oppressed or the demonically possessed. He also wrote a
book describing his counseling sessions, title, "Demon
Possession and the Christian." Fred would not counsel
any one unless they had made a confession of Christ. Why
clean an empty house?

They originate from God, creator of all things, visible and invisible.

According to the Jewish theology that I know, there exist demonical
creatures (Hebrew: Sheddim). See /1/.

You also might want to study the Kabbalistic concept of zimzum
(contraction), again /1/.

Gotta choke hold on the obvious, don't we!

Demons are fallen angels. The scriptures and tradition allude to
1/3rd
of all angelic beings rebelling with Satan. They still command great
respect and power but their doom is irreconcilable. Angels are not
a race but were created instantly by God. There was no design
granting
a federal substitute for the fallen angelic host. Those who did not
sin in rebellion were sealed by grace in their holiness.

Again, the two books I've already noted plus anything written by
Kurt Kock as well as "Biblical Demonology" by Unger.

True, but still easily misunderstood. That is why it is always a good idea to
include: when God created them, they were created wholly good. It is of their
own free-will that they turned evil.

Could you give us a summary? I doubt many have time to study Kabbalistic
concepts.
I don't.
Thank you.

B - I believe that if you believe in demons..that they exist. If you
don't..they don't exist. I believe that there are dark spirits that
take longer to learn and should be avoided as much as possible (mass
murders, serial murderers, child pornographers etc.) but I don't
personally believe in a demon existing as an actual "thing".
