Be very sure that your trust for salvation
is entirely on Jesus Christ alone
so that you have eternal life.
People come up with all kinds
of excuses to divide their trust
between Christ and other things.
You must not let your church,
or its teachings, or your denomination
or its teachings, or your interpretation
of Scripture or that of someone else,
no matter how popular they may be,
keep you from trusting in Christ alone.
The Lord Jesus showed the world
that he is the righteousness for salvation
just as he said he would in John 16:10,
and the Protestant movement began.
But today relatively few know that truth,
and many divide their trust between Christ
and self, church, baptism, sacrament, etc.
Will the time come that great numbers
of people will see their need for Christ
and place all their trust on him for salvation?
Yes, after the Lord has come for his people
and taken those whose righteousness is him
because they have all their trust on Christ,
then many of those not taken will realize
that they did not know the way of salvation
and that Christ alone is that way.
During the tribulation, these from all nations
will look for Christ to come to deliver them.

I do put my trust in Christ alone..whether that Christ be in Jesus or
Buddha or myself or anyone. About the trust in not your own interp of
the Bible then who do we take as the only interp? our pastors or
ministers? so they have God more within them than the rest of us? I
don't believe so. We are all the same in Christ. I personally
believe that you confuse Jesus the man and teacher with the Christ
that dwells within him and others. The Christ is that God part of you,
your highest self which is a variety of God made in Gods image..... a
different variation on a theme as it were. I'm not talking about the
ego or the Ha satan part of you...but the true you..the Christ
within. I also don't believe that Jesus will come again for "his
people"....the Christ in us? yes that will rise and be seen again..but
Jesus has done his work on this dimension and is blissfully happy in
heaven where he continues his work in that one. We each have it within
ourselves to listen to that still small voice which is the Christ and
do our good works..and then go home. Blessings
