Hello !

I'm a newbie, the name is Rod, and I just felt I should announce
myself and let you know I am here. I not one of those that takes
shots at other people for their beliefs, but at times I will question
them about it.

Damn. I'm a redhead, but don't live in BC. Thought about opening a
chapter in Oregon? :)

Of course! When I was a kid I had carrot red hair. Fortunately, it
toned down as I got older!

How do you define "newbie?" Looks like you have been posting since
2002.

Do you investigate everyone ?
No, but when anybody calls themselves a "newbie" I usually click on
their profile for some reason.

So how do you define newbie?

So how do you define newbie?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newbie

"Newbie" can be used as an term to identify newcomers to a game,
place, or organization. The variant spellings of "newbie" are also
used, especially in online games, as a catch-all insult regardless of
the recipient's actual skill or experience. Someone who acts like a
"newbie," but isn't one would be referred to as one of the variant
spellings. The variant "noob" has become common in spoken English in
parts of New York City and New Jersey as a substitute for the word
dude.[original research?] Alternate spellings include "newb",
"n00b","N00B","noob", and "nub". These alternate spellings of the
term, other than "newb," inherit the definition of "newbie" but are
generally used in a derogatory manner to indicate uselessness because
of the ignorance associated with being a newcomer.
