Lawrence also does not attack those in the church that support active
homosexuality (eg Rowland).
This accusation has been made about me before. Evidence please?
Your web page and that horrendous blasphemous article.
evidence supplied!
Athanasius, you were a policeman, and should know what the word 'evidence'
means...
===>>> Please, I repeat, evidence for the above...
If I have written anything *supporting active homosexuality* (please read
those words carefully: they're yours) I will retract it.
Rowland,

I am aware at the point you are -trying- to make and if I have
misrepresented you -in spirit- then I will most certainly retract.

If I need to it will be the first time this week that I neewd too.

So here we go.

Is there still a document on your webpage -authored by you yourself-
that purports to be a conversation the Lord Jesus has/had/would have
about homosexuality?

If you have removed it I shall retract my words. If not then you might
like to consider the spirit of what you have done by that document!

Prayerfully yours

In Christ!

Well, here's the article: I'll invite you all out there to be the judge...

~~~
Jesus, you had a reputation for hanging around with those on the
edges/margins of society. But some of my homosexual friends and clients
wonder why you said nothing about homosexuality, even though it was rife
back then. We're in a 'bi' bar in San Francisco... why are you here?
# Jesus: Hi! I was invited by a friend. Remember when Matthew threw a party
for his mafia-type mates? I was enjoying myself before the religious leaders
gate-crashed it.
And don't be too surprised if some of us 'all out there' judge it harshly. For
it _cries out_ for harsh judgment.
Like so many other leading/loaded questions, this question shows this article
has already made a wicked assumption about what is really the issue.
That is, this 'reputation' the questioner assumes is _already_ a _total_
misrepresentation of what Jesus Christ was doing by "hanging around with those
an the margins of society".
Not to mention it was NOT "rife back then", not among the audience He usually
addressed.
First of all, that is not an answer. But even more important, even a casual
perusal of the Gospel will show that Christ did better than _that_ when
deflecting leading/loaded questions.
Unfortunately, the article goes seriously downhill after this bad start.
