The Protestant movement began
when the Lord Jesus showed
one theologian from Scripture
that his attempts to be saved
by all his efforts to repent
were not the solution
but rather the problem
and that he needed
to place all his trust in Christ
to be his entire righteousness
to have eternal life.
Today there are many
who profess to be Protestants
who are once again attempting
to be saved by their repentance.
They do not realize that
they can never be saved
by their own righteousness.
But the Lord wants repentance
so how can people ever repent
without trusting in those efforts
for their salvation?
This is how:
Accept the truth that Jesus showed
that began the Protestant movement,
namely, that Christ not us
is our entire righteousness for salvation.

That's why there's 30.000 or so Protestant sects - they can't agree
amongst themselves what they believe.
