Re: Is Pro-gay OK for Church?
I'd like some clarification. Is it sinful for a man to love a man or
woman to love a woman if no genital sex is involved?
Hello,

That would be like saying, would it be alright for a married man to
kiss and fondle another woman. As long as romantic or sexual desires
are involved, it still would be sinful. We could take the principle
stated by Jesus, that even just looking at a woman the wrong way, can
be a sin. (Mt 5:28) The same should be true for romantic or sexual
homosexual thoughts or non-genital actions.
What about affectionate kissing between men and women (passionate
affection but not sexual)?
See above Jesus' statement.
What about stroking of faces, arms, etc - anything not considered to
be sexual?
Again see above Jesus' statement.

Obviously messing around with such things can lead to only worse
things. It is like fire and sticks of dynamite. You don't want the two
together.

Sincerely, James

B - No. Neither is it a sin to have genital sex with them. It really
depends on if you follow your church or God.

I don't think the original premise said "married"...that was something you
added.

Some Churches welcome homosexual and heterosexual people.

Homosexuals are not welcome in some churches, but that is no lost for
homosexuals. Such churches are of little benefit to their members and
of no benefit society as a whole. But, I am sure God tolerates those
churches.

Many people are very uncomftable with homosexuality, mainly because of their
own insecurities.

To justify this, they insist God is as uncomfrtable with it as they are.
