Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and Disney30 Countdown Jeremy Shum are
one of various Disney Channel Teens who are evangelizing Jesus to the
Nations, through their influence.

In a persuasive emotional YouTube video that was released widely, the
subtitles are:

You go through life and you start to realize that life isn't just
about the now. There's something more to it. This is what Miley Cyrus
said.

' We love Jesus. He died for our Sin. That's how awesome he is. Jesus
"woxs". That's the reason we do what we do. I sing, dance, and act for
Jesus. And now that I think about it, I do everything for Jesus. We're
all about it. '

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
Repeat these words after me: JESUS IS LORD! And beleive in your heart,
that that is indeed the truth... AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!

The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez, have also done
similarly through a new fad known as "purity rings" which is a promise
to God that they will keep themselves sexually pure until marriage.

This however, has not come without controversy, with Miley Cyrus'
Church The Peoples Church in Nashville, Tennessee, remaining quiet
about the star's private life back in her Church days, after apparent
"leaked photos" that were a little too revealing to remain
unembarassed, and a string of "leaked videos" by Disney model Jeremy
Shum where phrases such as "kick some ass", not to mention "tappin'
that ass", "you can be my b***h", and "smack you in the way you want"
in videos which solicit random popstars for marriage, and of course
the video where Jeremy Shum admits having pre-marital sexual
intercourse with Miley Cyrus when they were "aged thirteen".

B - evangelizing Jesus? I've never heard them talk about Jesus.


I'm glad that they have found a belief that works for them but when
people start to evangelize it appears to me almost like they are
automatons aping words and behaviour that are told to them to do or
risk hellfire. It actually creeps me out to see "Stepford
Christians" . I appreciate a true belief that resonates with the
believer...but spouting words "repeat after me and you will be saved"
is like a very bad spell done by a very unlearned Wiccan.
Magic words are just that..words..you have to really believe what you
are saying. God knows when you are being sincere and when you are
doing things because someone else told you to using fear as a
motivator.

Now as far as the purity rings go....fill your boots if you think it
matters. Personally I think making a promise to your parents that most
won't be able to keep is rather hard on yourself. Granted the ring may
be a good way to keep the boys at bay but some may think of it as a
challenge when they see them.
