Masturbation: A Christian Perspective

'Masturbation is nothing to be ashamed of. It's not something to be
particularly proud of, either.' (Matt Groening)

(P.S. A note to those who've seen this post previously: I circulate it about
once a month to some Usenet groups where young people in particular have
questions about this subject and don't know where to turn for answers. Every
time it's posted 1,000+ visit the article to read it. So, you regular Usenet
inhabitants, you don't need to get excited about this repetition - for
whatever reason :-)!!!

Masturbation: A Christian Perspective
Nothing 'Christian' about that so-called 'perspective'.

Groening is funny, but not particularly sympathetic to or knowledgable about
Christianity. Haven't you noticed the quick blasphemous scenes he sprinkles in
his comedies?

More bad ideas, teachings from the wolves in sheeps' clothing.

So you give them _bad_ answers, answers that will harden their hearts in sin?
Wonderful!

A _Christian_ perspective would not do this. A _Christian_ perspective would
teach humility instead.

I think Masturbation is a lesser sin, if the act becomes a sin. An
effort to sin less is better than not trying at all and do what Christ
want us to do, regardless of our body parts. Masterbation is another
way of manipulating our brain and sex is all in the brain. So learn to
control yourselves, unfortunetly no one preacher can tell you how.
Because sin is between you and Christ. And sin is not the same for
any two people, like genetics. Unless you decide to invite yourself
into some elses private life.

Blessed be, Lady

If a man or boy does not masturbate...and as of yet in my 44 years I
have not met one..that doesn't....

nocturnal emissions would happen constantly. Every sperm can never be
used for pregnancy...it makes little sense.
Where is the sin?

I have. So I guess you just keep moving in the wrong circles. Can't say I am
surprised, though.

This is actually quite irrelevant.
