We haven't discussed a movie recently on this group.

Last night Jan and I watched Little Miss Sunshine: a brilliant cinematic
commentary about how half a dozen people 'pretend to be normal'. Or,
going deeper, how/why at least eight or nine pervasive modern
(American/Californian/Western) answers to the ancient question 'What is
the Good Life?' are 'sent up' as pathetic fallacies.

Who's seen it? What are the fallacies?

B - hello Rowland...trying this again. Do you mean the fallacy of what we
might consider a normal life? that there is no such thing as a really
"normal" life? or that which we seek is only what we think we need to fit
in? but that it is a shallow feeling because it is not our truth?

I hope I get it...not really sure what you are getting at.

If this is wrong...heheeh..I give up!!
