Hello,

Many people just start reading the first book in the New Testament:
Matthew, and then go on to the second book, Mark, etc, etc. If you have
any Bible questions, I will be happy to share what I know or can
research.

Sincerely, James

B - Some say to gain a better understanding of the New Testament that you
should start with the Old Testament. I don't agree personally. I think you
can use many many different kinds of books to help you understand the New
Testament and I think the biggest thing you can do is ask the Lord in
Prayer to help you find the truth in wherever you look. I would suggest
you start reading the New Testament and if you can get your hands on the
Nag Hammadi and any books on Christian Mysticism...it may also help you to
understand...to read between the lines as well as the lines and see the
truth that is out there.

I wish you luck friend,
Blessings

There are some NT-only churches, although they're not very common - is this
what you're recommending? Most Christians consider the Jewish scriptures as
very relevant to the NT.

Given your personal theology, it might be helpful if you specified *which*
Lord you're referring to, here.
