B - Yes...it's true. I believe there is "some" truth in the Da Vinci
Code...SOME. It all comes down to rechecking "facts" and digesting
opinion. I believe that Jesus could have been married. I believe that
Jesus COULD have been taken down from the cross still alive and then hid
out and left for France. His (or what is attributed to him)word still
resonates with me..."love others as yourself"....judge a man not by his
words but by what his actions are.....etc. The Christ of him ...comes
through unimpeded no matter what he does...to me.
It is not him that I worship...it is the Christ in him and in all of us
..the God self that I worship. I love Jesus simply and honestly.

There you go. Evidence of the implied assertion of my post.
The book/movie is *supposed* to be a work of fiction, fantasy,
but it *really* is a convenient (and quite ingenious) vehicle
for a particular thesis. Compare its success with the book
_Holy Blood, Holy Grail_, or whatever the name was.
To continue the theme, how about other books/movies:
_The Grapes of Wrath_ book and movie plight of migrant
farm workers in the depression. Title from Revelation
via "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
"Our Daily Bread" Overt communist propaganda. have
you seen this lately? Title from Lord's Prayer.
"Birth of a Nation" Racist, pro-KKK, fictionalized "history"
