The way to be saved is clear,
but so many people keep missing it.
All that is needed is for people
to stop dividing their trust for salvation
between Christ and those other things
and rather place their trust entirely on him.
Of course, people should also repent,
be baptized, attend church,
take the sacrament,
serve, give, and do good works,
but without trusting in those for salvation,
and rather only place their trust in Christ.
Why only in him?
Because he not us
is our entire righteousness for salvation.

This is actually rather close to the Lutheran Christian theology that I'm
familiar with.
