The truth is not always pleasant

If you observe how Jesus and his apostles preached and taught
God's word, then you see that they did not appear with exaggerated
kindness or flattery. They did not try to represent the message of
salvation so pleasant as possible. No, they preached THE TRUTH
and many, specially the Pharisees and the teachers of the law,
comprehended the truth as very unpleasant, and so it has always
been. The worst enemies of the living Christianity have always
been found among the religious leaders.

Some people comprehend my articles as condemnatory and
unpleasant, but what I have written are such things that I have
been praying of for many years. Most contents in my articles are
the Lord's answers to my prayers. It can feel as a humiliation and
unpleasant when we discover that many things which we have
believed are not according to God's word. Yet, we must humble
us before God's word. If we do so, then God forgives us and we
become free from the erroneous attitude we have had. And what
we first comprehended as hard and condemnatory become
liberating. The truth makes us free and we get more understanding
of God's word.

Unfortunately, there are many who make the mistake that when
they hear or read something that not agrees with their opinion and
seems unpleasant, then they reject it and do not consider finding
how the things are.

Some people mean that I write as if I know everything, but they
think of that way only because they themselves know so little of
the Bible. If we are the good friends of Jesus, then we can get to
know quite a lot, for in him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom
and knowledge. Col. 2:2-3. What I have written in my articles are
such things that ought to be well known among the Christians.
All Christians ought to know it, but they do not know it because
they believe more on the churches than in God's word. In the
churches there are great ignorance, and they not even know in
what they are members. If we want to know the truth of the Body
of Christ, then we must go to Jesus outside the religious camp.
Hebr. 13:13.

Dear Allan, quite the summation of a person here. Perhaps they just
have a different opinion than you ...rather than know so little of the
Bible. What is needed is humility ...the knowing that you MAY be in
error..that others opinions are just as valid as yours. I see a big
lack of humility in some posters on this group...the stating of "it is"
when it should be "I believe it is". Then again perhaps you really
believe you know...and that God compels you to speak out...so be
it...but always know that when you come across as having the only
answer or only interp to something that you will either gain guru
status which is all about the ego...or people will be irritated that
you THINK your way is best.

Amen! Nothing irritates me more than an individual with a "I am a
spokesperson for God" attitude. God and I communicate just fine without
an intermediary, thank you very much!

Christ is the truth. He is not always pleasant.
37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the great and first commandment.
39 And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as
thyself.
40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
Matthew 22:37-40 (American Standard Version)

Where does human ego and biggotery fit in this?
Blessed be, Lady

Blessed be, Lady
B - to love someone as yourself...there is no ego there.
Bigotry? yes....there is none...but for some reason people find it.
