Nondisposable Truth

One of the three truths that Christ
said he was going to show the world
was about his righteousness.
In fact, when Christ made it clear that
the ruling church claiming to be his
was actually the foretold counterfeit,
the truth he brought so powerfully
to the attention of the world
and that began the Protestant movement
was about his righteousness.
This began when the Lord showed
one theologian from Scripture
that the righteousness for eternal life
is Christ and not our own at all.
The result was that people began
to place all their trust in Christ
and none in themselves at all for salvation.
But today that truth is hardly told anymore.
Why is nondisposable truth
being set aside as though disposable?
What has been the result?
Today people hardly know
that faith alone means faith alone
rather than faith plus repentance.
Before the Protestant movement,
people were generally trusting in
their repentance, church, and ordinances
for salvation,
but the Lord showed that all trust
is to be in him and him alone.
Does that mean that people should
neglect repentance, church, or ordinances?
Of course not!
But it does mean that people should
not trust in those things to save them,
but rather only in Christ.
Those who are not trusting in only Christ
should find out why the Lord considered
the doctrine of his righteousness so needed
that with it he began the Protestant movement.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away,
the Comforter will not come unto you;
but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world
of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father,
and ye see me no more.
Of judgment, because the prince
of this world is judged.
I have yet many things to say unto you,
but ye cannot bear them now.

(John 16:7-12 KJV)

Which one? I would think that any church claiming to be christian would
also claim to be his. Are there some who do not?

was actually the foretold counterfeit,
Foretold by who? When? How do you know?

So all professing christians in churches claiming to be his were counterfeit
prior to the protestants?

Seems like this "truth" is preached from many pulpits of western
christianity. I seriously double there is lack of it at all.

Who is doing this? Where, when and how?

Yes, that sure seems right, but faith alone does what exactly? Faith in ???
compared to faith in ???

Before the Protestant movement,
people
Which people, where, when? Do you really believe all christians died off or
disappeared until Luther came along?
